Releasing Fall 2026: The Weight Between Us: A Story of Body Image, Bulimia, and Becoming Whole — by Shanesha Scott — A character-driven novel following Taryn, a 24‑year‑old Black woman whose private struggle with bulimia has gone unseen for far too long. In a world where eating disorders among Black women are rarely acknowledged, The Weight Between Us brings visibility and language to experiences often dismissed or misunderstood. Through Taryn’s journey, the story explores how silence, shame, and survival shape identity—and what it means to fight for healing, self-worth, and wholeness. A powerful narrative about becoming whole in a body that has carried more than its share.
